Purple Ape Merch is now available!

All of us in the NFT space have our own trait subgroups (Cheetah Gang, Gold Apes, Pink Ape DAO, etc.) that we use as a form of community engagement.  The Purple Ape Yacht Club (#PAYC) group chat was formed earlier this year to bring together Apes and Mutants with Purple Background traits.  While the Purple Background trait is the one of the most common traits, its' owners are anything but common.  The #PAYC today includes Yuga’s new CEO @dalegre, our fearless Founder @cryptogarga, multiple Yuga Community Managers & BAYC Council Members, and so many legendary OGs, builders, and contributors to the Ape ecosystem.  

The Purple Ape shirt started as a fun community idea in our group chat.  What better way to show that Purple backgrounds are the best backgrounds than with custom merch to show off at future events!  With help from the #PAYC and our partners at @NFTees_com, I was able to finalize a design that allows full customization for every owner to have their own Ape or Mutant featured on the back of the shirt.

Purple Ape shirts are all custom to the Bored Ape and/or Mutant Ape owner.  The front of the shirt has the Purple Ape Yacht Club logo on the patch area, and the back features a Purple Ape graphic with your Ape.  The graphic is bordered with 'EST. 2021', the year the Bored Ape Yacht Club was founded.

The back graphic is a layered set of images that allows for the easy integration of each individual Ape without requiring extensive artwork.  

The ordering process is currently only available via a manual Google Form entry with notification to our partners at NFTees.
